Hermes has a new home! Yeah, he is adopted!
One early morning a Brooklyn couple found a puppy in their backyard when they were getting ready to leave for work. Apparently some one who couldn't keep the puppy preferred to leave him in a private yard rather than on the street. When the couple returned from work, they found the puppy still in the yard, sitting next to the back door apparently waiting for the couple to return. The couple put flyers up in the neighborhood and contacted lost & found, but no one came to claim the puppy. This is how Hermes found himself a home and adopted his new family.
During his time with his family, Hermes got to run on the beach, play in the snow, and stroll the streets of Brooklyn. He was always a soulful and loyal companion to the family he had decided to adopt.
Three years ago, Hermes lost his mother to cancer. This past October, his father died after a long battle with kidney disease. Hermes was adored by his parents. But now Hermes has no family and, again, he's homeless.
Hermes was removed from his home in Brooklyn and taken to a kennel because no one could take care of him. Hermes is sad, confused, and lonely.
This lovely Vizsla Mix is approx 10 yrs-old and 50 pounds. He's healthy, tall, long legged, tan & gold in color, with some gray in his face... Hermes is good with people and cats. He's OK with well matched dogs, especially females. He's well-mannered, walks well on leash, doesn't chew but his toys and is housetrained.
Hermes is playful and runs like a gazelle! He loves chasing his ball, ice-cream cones, going bye-bye in the car, and sleeping in his bed! Hermes loves to sit on your lap, not realizing that he's not a tea-cup poodle. If you rather bypass the puppy chewing and craziness and adopt Hermes, a senior but definitely NOT a BORING dog, give us a call ASAP. Hermes will make a splendid companion for the family lucky enough to adopt him.
Hermes is neutered and current on vaccinations. Wouldn't you give this lovely dog a second chance?
